Separate Your Load

You can save time and money by separating your load before taking it to the drop-off center. A lot of "stuff" is recyclable and not considered garbage. Consider separating your load in these categories:

  1. Garbage
  2. Clean wood
  3. Yard waste
  4. Tires
  5. Mattresses
  6. Electronic waste
  7. Metal
  8. Plastics - all types except Styrofoam. Styrofoam is considered garbage.
  9. Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) - load last
  10. Recyclables - load last
