You will need your Customer ID, Account Number, and credit or debit card ready to submit your payment.

Drop off your check or money order using the lime green drop-box located in the rear parking lot at City Hall (in front of the Police Department).

Place your payment in an envelope addressed to:

(remember to reference your account number on the envelope or check!)

To Start Utility Service

Contact Utilities staff at (831) 768-3133. Water service availability charges as well as minimum solid waste and minimum sanitary sewer charges will be charged unless and until the customer satisfactorily closes his/her account with the city and no longer occupies the location where service is provided.

 Applicants who have not subscribed to city utility service in the last twelve (12) months will be required to pay a service activation fee. New service requests will be processed the next business day if received before 1:00 pm. New service requests received after 1 pm will be processed after two business days.

To Terminate Utility Service

Contact Utilities staff at (831) 768-3133 at least one business day in advance and indicate the day you would like to terminate service. If the account is not under your name, you will be asked to confirm your authority.


Benefits of Online Bill Pay

We know you may be uncertain about online bill pay and prefer to mail in your check. Or you are already using your bank's online service to pay your City utility bill. That doesn't have to change. But if you use our new service, you'll get these wonderful benefits:

  1. Your payment will post on the following business day. Those who use their bank's online service may have their payments delayed 3-5 days while their bank processes and sends their manual check to the City for processing.
  2. Access your past 18 months of your utility bills, payment history and any information inserts (starting with October 2009 transactions).
  3. Get your utility bill by email and opt for paperless bills
  4. 24 hour a day account access. You can make changes or send in questions when it's convenient for you (payment preferences, billing information, etc.)
  5. Choose between multiple payments methods (Checking, Savings, Visa, MasterCard, Discover) for any utility account
  6. Take advantage of your credit card's bonus programs and earn miles/points for paying your utility bill with your credit card
  7. Security knowing your information will not be used for another purpose or sold
  8. Save money and time by never using a stamp again or using gas to make a payment in person
