The self-inspection program is for businesses that are
statistically at a lower risk for fire and do not store/use hazardous materials. These businesses may include the
following:
- Florist shops
- Hair salons
- Law offices
- Small offices
- Small stores
If your business qualifies for the self-inspection program, please submit the SELF INSPECTION REPORT. All businesses will periodically receive an onsite inspection to ensure compliance. If you have any questions, contact the Fire Prevention Office at 831-768-3231.
If you operate your business out of your home and do not use any hazardous materials as part of your business, please complete the HOME-BASED BUSINESS CERTIFICATION FORM. Once we receive this form we will update our records and remove your business name from our self-inspection list.
