[ARCHIVED] Preparing for the upcoming storm

Incoming Storm Web Template

Another strong storm system is forecast to move into our region starting Saturday night, February 3, 2024.

The National Weather Service expects heavy rain and strong winds that could potentially cause flooding, downed trees and power lines. A Flood Watch and High Wind Warning will go into effect on Saturday. As a reminder, residents should call 9-1-1 and PG&E’s customer service line at 1-800-PGE-5000 if they come across any downed power lines. Toppled trees can be reported by calling the non-emergency line at 831-471-1151.

If you live in a flood-prone area, please take the necessary steps to prepare for this storm. Our two self-serve sandbag stations for Watsonville residents remain open 24/7 at:
· Joyce McKenzie Park, 500 Joyce Drive

· Fire Station 1, 115 2nd Street
