We’re excited to celebrate Independence Day with our community at the Spirit of Watsonville 4th of July parade in historic Downtown Watsonville!

The parade is scheduled to begin at 12:30 PM on Tuesday at the corner of Freedom Boulevard and Main Street (in front of Saint Patrick's Church), and will proceed down Main Street, ending on the corner of First Street and Rodriguez Street. Food booths and local arts and crafts vendors will also enhance the experience 10 AM– 3:30 PM on Peck Street, next to the City Plaza.

Mayor Eduardo Montesino has granted the parade Grand Marshal honor to Community Foundation Santa Cruz County, honoring the organization’s tremendous support of the Watsonville community during recent distressful situations resulting from the winter floods and their ongoing impactful work promoting equity and access to services for the benefit of all Watsonville residents.

“The City of Watsonville and many of our community partners feel very grateful to count on the partnership and support of the Community Foundation in times of need,” said Montesino.

This year’s parade is sponsored by the City of Watsonville, Driscoll’s, Inc., UC Santa Cruz, and Watsonville Auto Group. Sponsorship opportunities are still available for the Spirit of Watsonville parade and upcoming City of Watsonville events.
