Sandbags Available for Residents

Latest Update: Tuesday, January 3, 2023 


Our City has requested an additional 20,000 sandbags and 150 tons of sand from the County. Volunteers from community-based organizations are working hard to keep up with the demand. Sandbags at both sandbag locations, Fire Station 1(115 2nd St.) and Ramsay Park, will be prioritized for Watsonville residents. 


A customer service line has been set up for residents with inquiries. The 831-768-3133 line will be staffed daily from 7AM-6PM. 


𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗔Ñ𝗢𝗟


Nuestra Ciudad ha solicitado 20.000 sacos de arena adicionales y 150 toneladas de arena del Condado. Voluntarios de organizaciones comunitarias están trabajando arduamente para satisfacer la demanda. Se dará prioridad a los sacos de arena en ambas ubicaciones de sacos de arena, la Estación de Bomberos 1 (115 2nd St.) y Ramsay Park, para residentes de Watsonville.


Se ha establecido una línea de atención al cliente para los residentes con preguntas. La línea 831-768-3133 contará con personal todos los días de 7AM- 6PM.

Sandbags are available for Watsonville residents are Fire Station 1 (115 2nd St.) and Ramsay Park from 7AM-6PM.


They are self-serve stations, and City crews are working hard to keep them stocked. Please do not call our fire or police departments asking for sandbag updates, as they are responding to calls for service in the community.

Son estaciones de autoservicio y equipos de la Ciudad están trabajando arduamente para mantenerlas abastecidas. Por favor, no llame a nuestros departamentos de bomberos o policía para pedir actualizaciones de sacos de arena, ya que están respondiendo a las llamadas de servicio en la comunidad.
