[ARCHIVED] Watsonville Strawberry Festival Returns this August

Strawberry Festival 2022

The Watsonville Strawberry Festival is back in full force this year, offering an entire weekend of family-friendly fun in Historic Downtown Watsonville! Enjoy carnival attractions in addition to Music in the Plaza at the Festival’s kick-off on Friday, August 5th, 5:00-9:00 pm, and experience all the Festival has to offer on Saturday, August 6, 11:00 am-8:00 pm and Sunday, August 7, 11:00 am-7:00 pm.

Carnival rides for all ages and thrill-seeking levels are sure to delight, as will the sweet treats in Strawberry Lane and shopping opportunities provided by local artisans and a variety of vendors.

The entertainment lineup features 5 Star Band, Banda Tierra de Jalisco, Beat Street, Fiera Norteña, Izzy and the Haze, La Proxima Band, Los Enchilados, Los Líderes de la Banda, Wild at Heart, and YOSAL Artists. Dancers and other performers will also dazzle on the Cultural and Beer and Wine Garden stages.

This year’s event is sponsored by Driscoll’s, Inc., California Strawberry Commission, T-Mobile, The Pajaronian, Sutter Health/PAMF, Bay Federal and iHeart Media and will be produced in partnership with the City of Watsonville, Alegría Musical, Main Street Enterprises, Inc., Arte del Corazón and the Pajaro Valley Chamber of Commerce.

The 2022 Festival poster features art by local artist Priscilla Martinez and is inspired by the community’s continued resiliency as we adapt and emerge stronger together in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.

There are no Festival admission fees.
