Proposed Regulations Review and Update

The Municipal Airport has completed the biennial review and update of the Airport’s Regulations and Minimum Commercial Standards.   The review/update focuses on safety, continuous improvement of operations and administration of the airport.   Importantly, the update considers stakeholder input and commentary.

The proposed updates were subject to a thirty-day public comment period which concluded on December 15, 2025.  Airport Management collected a total of seventeen (17) comments via online submissions and hosted a virtual Town Hall meeting to answer questions and receive input.

Tenant comments are now posted, at the link below, “as written”, with Airport corresponding responses, and proposed go forward actions.

Airport Management takes all comments and concerns seriously.  The proposed updates are necessary, appropriate, and consistent with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requirements.  City Management, City and County First Responders and FAA Western Region Compliance Office fully support airport management in implementing the updated Airfield Access Policy.
